Okay, so, today I had it when the car I've been working on for the past two days has just blown up in contact with a barbed wire fence south of Pleasant Valley (along with other bugs and disappointments). I'm gonna leave on a positive note here with a copy/paste of my last post plus other bugs I've encountered and wrote down.
To start off, I've been a gamer for well over 13 years now, and served in the army for another year. This game captivated me for the idea of urban/mountain survival. Although the sandbox feel in this game is really new to me (in the good way, it's tremendously amazing!), I have played other sandbox games (I'll reference GTA not because I want to compare you guys with it, but because a lot of people played those games and will know what I am talking about). I've fell in love with this game because of the sandbox, so much that I bought 4 copies (one for my best buddy to play with, and one for me, two because I will hand them to some other friends for their birthdays)
So, let's begin with > the goodies:
Fear of losing items in this game is immense. Although for a hardcore and experienced gamer, losing the items might not be such a big deal, I love hiding and taking care of myself;
Scavenging: holy shit you can spend 30 seconds in a house because the door is missing and find good stuff, or not, or you can lock the doors in every house and look closely for loot. This is by far my favorite sport and that's why I've chosen the PVE server of Shrapnel (EU).
Hordes of zombies are scarier than I am ready to admit, although the fact that you can outrun them is the best thing ever (a med friend of mine told me why zombies should never be able to outrun a living person), my best buddy and I locked ourselves in the church of Cranberry for over an hour because the hordes were knocking at our door, with no help in sight - THANK GOD THEY CAN NOT KNOCK THE DOOR DOWN, LEAVE IT AT THAT!
Hunting your food is fun, although I'd like to shoot some birds, too.
No "special infected" like in other series, while in L4D a witch or a Tank were the scariest sh*t you could encounter, we don't have the problem here, which is fine! We love it that way.
The baddies:
No clipping zombies go through certain trees or traps (thank GOD they can't come through my door on my tall building, hehe), but you guys already know that so I'm not gonna talk too much about it.
Stairs bug a lot, I've encountered something that puts me in a constant falling state at the first flight of stairs in said tallest structures you guys implemented in game (I hope you know what I am talking about) Well that's about it for the bad things I've encountered in this game, other stuff were neglectable because nothing else popped in my face.
Sound bugs, it gives me paranoia because I'm on the 3rd floor of a building and I hear zombies as if they are in the room.
Now for my Suggestions , if I may, in personal order of importance:
IN-GAME TICKET SYSTEM & VOLUNTEER MODS. If you played SA:MP and know S0beit, you know that there are hackers there who cheat even over the anti-cheat system. If you've played any MMORPG you saw how awesome tickets felt, to be answered by someone in the know. Offer the moderation system to certain chosen users, it will reduce your response time to hackers.
Zoomed in areas should render. If I am sitting somewhere and I zoom in all the way to the place which is far beyond my render distance, I should still be able to see that place's zombies and players somehow. Also, add manual zoom to the game, please!
Customizeable Weapons: imagine you wanted a suppressor on your weapon, but you gotta find one first! Or a more powerful scope on your sniper? How about a better stock for your shotgun, or a larger magazine for your assault rifle? Something along those lines would be pretty and even more rewarding for the player who kills another one and takes that hard-earned weapon with accessories, that should be quite rare to come across.
Holding your breath for sniping is something very important, especially if you want to keep the sniper steady before firing, also ledges (of the said tall buildings, especially :D ) should reduce the amount of motion caused by the character breathing.
More weapons! I know everyone is pointing this out, but after finding a fire axe after having a wooden axe all the time was extremely rewarding. So, the more weapons, the merrier!
Ammo straps are belts that are worn around the waist or over the shoulder, and are used to carry (normally) one type of caliber. Why not put any caliber on such a strap? It would help tremendously to not put the bullets in the pocket of my pants, in my fanny pack, or in my t-shirt.
Clocks and watches. We plan our routes daily but we get caught up in the middle of the forest, in the middle of the night. Get that military feel in there!
Fishing should be a sport, even from the comfort of your own base hint, hint.
Vaulting over obstacles would come in handy, even if it would mean teaching some zombies how to do it, too.
Pre-emptive resting, I sleep all the time, nto only when tired.
Inactive bases, including the foundations, should be removed after some shorter inactivity.
Rain and before the rain, there's always wind.
Leather and leatherworking items.
PVP areas on PVE servers would be great, but only in places such as other people's bases and other designated areas (like the Governor's retreat or the military base).
Climbing in the church tower might seem like a huge advantage but who are we to deny it? Have you seen Saving Private Ryan?
Wood/Charcoal Stoves should be useable when entering an abandoned cabin. Making a fire in the house sounds like a stupid idea.
Some aesthetics:
Shooting stars would be awesome, also a good position of the Northern star will come in handy for those who know how to use it without making it too obvious.
Gloves don't show in First-Person view.No more details here.
Combat position of the knife looks like he's going to cut cheese, not people. Put the knife in a better position: blade-down.
Well, that's it. I might play this game again in some time, but until then, I just got too frustrated. Good luck, I paid for this, now don't make it pay-to-win.

What I saw and what I'd suggest [Observations]
